Texas chimney caps

we call these domes, not sure why because it’s not even a dome but that’s what we call them. We added bird spikes at the request of the client and this is how it turned out.

Before and after, Masonry Ttop in dark bronze. Had to knock all that brick off carefully, didn’t want those bricks falling and damaging the shingles. Slowly but surely we got the job done and these were the results.

Here we have a single flashing with an R-Ttop on top of the single flashing. Before and after

Here we have a R-Ttop inside of a Ttop, we don’t usually do this but the guy at the shop didn’t read the order right and made a Ttop, the look on his face was priceless whenever I told him he made the wrong cap 😂 we ended up putting them both and created this. I think it ended up looking cool

This is how the top of a masonry chimney looks like when it isn’t capped, it’s just open.

It’s quite rare when we come across brick chimneys with pipe, here we have a single flashing with a superior spark arrestor w/ louvered screen

Galvanized jagger top with single flashing just sitting around collecting dust at the shop. Don’t really like the galvanized material but we work with it at the request of the customer.

I’ve posted nothing but masonry chimney caps but we also cap piped chimneys. This one is a Regular single flashing with a new superior spark arrestor with louverd screen

I don’t know what it’s called but we build it 😅 . Any name suggestions? The color is medium bronze

The black Masonry Ttop looks great on all colors of brick , if you have a darkish roof this cap will look good on your home
