Blaine’s impact extends far beyond operations—throughout nearly four decades, he has positively influenced countless team members, residents, and communities across the LUMA portfolio. Simply put, to know Blaine is to appreciate the kind of teammate and leader he is.

In his new role, Blaine will oversee make ready operations for our centralized maintenance initiative, supporting multiple properties as this initiative continues to evolve and grow. His knowledge, leadership, and experience will be an incredible asset to both our teams and communities.

In this new role, Chris will oversee centralized maintenance operations as we continue expanding and evolving our LUMA initiatives.

Chris has been part of the LUMA family for more than 9 years, most recently leading service operations at Paces Crossing located in Denton, TX. with consistency, expertise, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. His leadership, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to embrace innovation have made a lasting impact on both his team and community.

His passion for innovation and forward-thinking approach make him a natural fit for this next chapter. We are excited to see the knowledge and impact he will bring to our centralized maintenance operations.

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At LUMA Residential, we believe that supporting our communities starts with supporting one another. This month, we’re encouraging meaningful conversations around mental health, sharing helpful resources, and reminding our teams that they are never alone.

Throughout May, our team members will proudly wear Mental Health Awareness buttons and green in support of awareness, connection, and compassion. Together, we’re creating a culture where checking in, speaking openly, and supporting each other matters.

We’re proud to foster an environment that prioritizes wellness, empathy, and care—not just this month, but every day. 💚

Our LUMAcares team had the privilege of volunteering with West Houston Assistance Ministries - WHAM — and it was a morning we won't forget. 💙

From 7:30 a.m. to noon, our team got to work — bagging carrots, then shifting into full gear loading groceries for families in need. The result? 284 cars loaded in just 3 hours.

That's 284 families. 284 moments of impact.

We're incredibly grateful to be part of an organization that not only talks about community but shows up for it. A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers for making days like this possible and thank you to all of LUMAcares for fostering a culture where service is at the heart of what we do.

Community matters — and today was a beautiful reminder of that. 🧡
