For those who have questions and concerns regarding hair growth, it takes time. Hair loss can be caused by many things such as hormones, medication, lack of drinking water, internal issues in the body, slow to no blood flow in areas of the scalp, or chemicals. The key to help solve any of these issues is to find out what's causing the problem and to address it by going to a dermatologist, trichologist or hair specialist/stylist. Please note that a hair stylist cannot give you a diagnosis, only a doctor. But as a stylist I am here to help promote and grow healthy hair.

As we come to the close of Black History Month, share with us one of your most memorable moments about our heritage that you have either witnessed or learned. The most memorable moment that comes to mind is in 2008 when then Senator Barack Obama was elected and became the first African American President of the United States.
