🏈 NFL Alumni Joined Forces for a Super Cause 💪🎉

The NFL Alumni were proud to stand alongside the Rey Feo Education Foundation and the Rey Feo Parade Committee for the 2025 Rey Feo Superheroes River Parade, an unforgettable evening that celebrated community, education, and tradition.

Together, we made a lasting impact:
✅ $50,000 was presented to the San Antonio College First Responders Academy, supporting education and training for future leaders.
✅ The parade reached over 100,000 social media reactions, with local influencers sharing posts and live coverage throughout the event.
✅ Volunteers and families brought the “Superheroes” theme to life, showing that real heroes serve, protect, and inspire every day.

Thousands of guests came together to celebrate what happens when a city unites for education, opportunity, and community pride. We are grateful to everyone who made this event possible, from organizers and sponsors to every volunteer who gave their time and heart.

Not every challenge has a clear path. Sometimes, you can’t go around it — you have to go over it.

That mindset defines Johnny "Sky" Walker, both as a former NFL player and now as the President of the NFL Alumni Austin Chapter. On the field, he earned his nickname by launching over defenses. Off the field, he brings that same energy to our mission — facing obstacles head-on and lifting up our local community in the process.
