Gartner says phone shipments face their worst decline ever

For consumers, using lithium-ion batteries is easy. For recyclers, it's a different story. These batteries can often be temperamental when it comes to extraction and disposal efforts. That's why the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have partnered to host a series of workshops that discuss the safe handling of lithium-ion batteries.
