Our aspirational Story!
The concept for the Hesed Organization comes from our founder’s personal experiences. Born into a poor family with limited opportunities and resources, the one place Francis Kouadio could go for physical activity and a sense of achievement was a nearby sports club. Access to sports opened other doors for this Ivory Coast native. Francis went on to school, obtained a degree, and became successfully employed.
Our founder is dedicated to helping other disadvantaged children receive the help that he was given growing up: the opportunity to develop a talent, attend school, live in a safe environment, and have a financially secure and successful future.
How You Can Help
Hesed, which means “love” and “kindness” in Hebrew, believes that the fast track to a better life is through sports and education. The love and kindness that volunteer members contribute will make that happen for the world’s youth. Here are ways you can help:
