To wrap up Nurses Week, we’re celebrating Derrick C., RN, and the support and compassion he brings.

For Derrick, nursing is about advocating for patients, building trust and making a positive difference each day through both clinical care and human connection.

“What makes me most proud to be a nurse is knowing that I can have a meaningful impact on someone’s life, even in small moments,” Derrick shared. “Whether it is helping a patient feel safe, listened to, or cared for, those interactions matter.”
