Your conversation reveals your condition. The words you repeat are receipts.
Every time you say, "I can't," "People always..." or "Nothing ever works out for me," you're revealing more than you realize. Your conversation exposes your mindset before your results ever show up.
The Israelites did this in Numbers 13. Before they ever faced the giants in the Promised Land, they said, "We can't do it" and saw themselves as grasshoppers. Their conversation revealed their fear long before their outcome did (Numbers 13:31-33).
But Caleb had a different conversation: "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it" (Numbers 13:30). Same challenge. Different mindset.
Want to know what you truly believe? Listen to yourself for one day.
Jesus said, "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34). Your mouth is often giving away what your heart has already decided.
Your conversation is leaving clues. Make sure it's speaking faith, not fear.

My Pastor’s sermon was on this text today, but every time I hear this story and read the text, this is where my mind goes. I love Jael’s story, but what did her man say afterward? 😂😂😂 Can’t nobody tell me that brother didn’t sleep with an eye open the rest of his life. He had a Hitta for a wife!

God-Morning! If I must be honest, it was during the seasons that the thorn was digging deepest in my flesh that I depended on Him the most. That I grew closest to Him. Lord, I now understand the value of the thorn.
“…Therefore, to keep me from being too elated, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me, but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 NRSVUE

Jesus ‘ teaching on lust is a continuation of this teaching on emotional intelligence
and again, focuses on heart issues.

It's easy to notice someone else's mistakes. Grace invites us to see people the way God does.
In John 8, a crowd gathered with stones in their hands, but Jesus responded with wisdom, compassion, and truth. He reminded them that before we focus on someone else's failures, we should take an honest look at our own hearts.
Discernment is biblical. Condemnation is not our assignment.
