Meet our colleague Markus Rogler. Markus is head of Production and Purchasing at LARU, a Darling Ingredients producer, where they make a range of sustainable premium pork and goose lard specialties. Markus started working at LARU in Germany eight years ago, in accounting. One of the things he loves to do next to his work is visiting a UNESCO World Heritage coal mine in his country.

“I started working at LARU April 2013 to be precise. For a short time I was also in charge of production planning, but looking back, my work got a little too diverged. I wanted to have more focus. This led to me making the step to being head of Production and Purchasing.”

“What I like at working for Darling is that you have the opportunity to develop myself further through my commitment. There are always new challenges and with them, new opportunities. Opportunities that have led to mastering new activities and roles and - in the end - even carrying them out on a daily basis.”
