Rockwall Memorial Day Concert

Sadly, the City of Rockwall has chosen to produce its own, much simpler Memorial Day Concerts in 2015 & 2016, using only local talent, fewer songs and no presentations. Please do not confuse their concert with ours, which we may bring back again in 2017.

Whitney Vinson Rosenbalm, the star & co-star of numerous Dallas-Ft. Worth musicals, was amazing as she sang the Judy Garland hit that was so popular with our troops overseas during WWII, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," at the Rockwall Memorial Day Concert May 25, presented by TheRockwallNews.com. Judy couldn't have sung it any better! Behind her is the superb Air National Guard Band of the Southwest from Ft. Worth.

Award-winning Rockwall High School junior Jessica Brunson has a beautiful voice and is well on her way to a professional singing career. Last night at the Rockwall Memorial Day Concert, presented by TheRockwallNews.com, she sang Pie Jesu, which is a prayer asking Christ to grant eternal rest to the souls of those who have died, specifically our fallen soldiers. We hope she will return again next year!
