Paula Crane is an American silkscreen artist born September 2, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. Paula is said to have become interested in art while she lived in Oldenburg, West Germany. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the university of Colorado, Boulder and later became an instructor in silk screening there, at which point she began producing her own work. Her subjects are strongly inspired by her time backpacking in the mountains of the American west and her prints can be found all across the US.
