🚨 BIG NEWS FOR LOUISIANA’S FIRE SERVICE 🚨
The Louisiana Firefighters Foundation is proud to partner with SERVPRO Servpro Team Reed to launch the Louisiana Fireground Vision Initiative 🔥
This statewide program is built with one goal in mind: making our firefighters safer and more effective on the fireground.
Through this initiative, selected departments across Louisiana will receive:
🔥 Thermal Imaging Cameras (FirePRO 300)
🔥 Hands-on fire behavior training using the Max Fire Box
🔥 Real-world instruction on using TICs during live fireground operations
Why this matters ⬇️
This program is designed to:
• Improve situational awareness in high-risk environments
• Enhance search & rescue capabilities
• Strengthen fire attack decision-making
• Expand high-quality training opportunities across the state
🚒 10 total thermal imaging cameras will be awarded to departments demonstrating need, impact, and commitment to training.
📅 Application Timeline
• Opens: April 22, 2026
• Deadline: May 18, 2026
• Awards Announced: June 1, 2026
