My deep love for our local businesses comes from my 15+ years in the Service Industry, living paycheck to paycheck, serving folks, and listening to the stories of our community. I worked incredibly hard to take over full ownership of a local wine bar right here in Denton, learning firsthand the joys and struggles of operating a small business. Today, I continue my entrepreneurial journey as the owner and operator of my private counseling practice, Radiant Counseling & Wellness Collective.

Because I've walked in those shoes, I know that keeping our local economy thriving takes real, intentional policy. When you elect me to City Council, I will champion:
A Local Business Preference Ordinance: Implementing a 25% minimum local procurement requirement so city contracts go to Denton-owned businesses first.
Micro-Enterprise Support: Expanding micro-grants and technical assistance for local makers, artists, and small businesses.
Anti-Displacement Protections: Ensuring major new developments don't price out our legacy small businesses.
