Chicks for Christ (formerly Hesed Egg Ministry) started in 2012 at Shiloh Field Community Garden. A Our coop houses just about 100 laying hens.

We have added 168 baby chicks to our growing flock. This brings Chicks for Christ chicken total to over 320 beautiful ladies!! Mr. P has a lot of caretaking ahead of him!

Mr. P has the toughest job in town! He watches over 100 chicks daily at the Chicks for Christ Ministry. Can't you see his exhaustion?

Chicks for Christ has donated over 145 dozen eggs to local food pantries in July. That brings their yearly total to 1,401 dozen!! Those are some hard working chicks!!
