Frenchy Mymy

Be ready for a colorful burlesque show, where each act will be on a song with a color on the title.

I'll perform 2 acts : my cowgirl routine on Black Velvet, and a new one on the song Blue Velvet.

Chromatique, a colorful burlesque show
Sunday September 20th
6pm at Lot 46 Music Bar

"They tried to silence us, like we were not really part of history,
Kind of a side character, a face with no name just here to wander.

They tried to erase us, from the books and universities,
from the Nobel Prize and any place of prestige,
like mediocrity was our destiny and only cis white boys were a good fit to become a prodigy.

They tried to divide us, to kill our spirit, to turn our beautiful stories into pathetic folies.

F**K THEM!

F**k the racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic narrative we've been fed for centuries.

F**k the system made to enlighten some and destroy others.

We are entering a new era. Fighting the power, defying the order,
taking a long p**s on their scared values of competition and domination.
Becoming the living proof that kindness is not weakness,
that compassion and mutual help are the path to a better world.

We will silence them with our screams of rage and our bursts of hysterical joy.

We will take space, hold space, and rewrite history with our blood if we need to, but we won't be passive anymore. We know what we have to do.

F**K. THEM. ALL."

This ☝️ is the poem I wrote for the seditious act I'll be performing on the 4th of July for F*ck Tr*mp burlesque show.
This whole show is going to be as wild as the title let you imagine. Definitely the best way to do something fun and meaningful for that day.
