𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲
I've made English Toffee for years and we loved it; I imagine many of you have as well. And then one day a friend offered me some from a Christmas gift she had gotten from one of her students.

It was different and better and hard to describe. The toffee flavor was great but it had something a bit extra and whatever it was, the toffee was a hint lighter and softer, not quite as brittle. How could it be toffee and not be brittle? Like I said, hard to describe!

I asked her if she could get the recipe and this is it. It doesn't matter how you include your chocolate or your nuts...it's one little teeny addition of something unexpected...SO good!

Day 8 of all Watermelon with drinks, appetizer, salad, and tomorrow a dessert!

Today it's a Watermelon Mint Mojito. I don't trust Watermelon until this time of year; any jump-start using those that are shipped in always leads to disappointment with lackluster fruit. But now...local melons so deeply red and so sweet...perfect!
