Andromeda found the perfect new mom last week, and she’s already settled into her new home like she’s been there her whole life.

Meet Babydoll! 🧡

Her name fits her perfectly. Babydoll is a precious 5-month-old orange kitten with a sweet personality that's blossoming more every day.

While she can be a little shy when faced with new people or situations, Babydoll has been growing in confidence by leaps and bounds. Recently, she's discovered the joys of climbing walls, high perches, and sunny windows where she can keep an eye on the world below. These days, you're just as likely to find her snoozing up high in her favorite spot as you are exploring her surroundings with growing curiosity.

Babydoll has also recently made another important discovery: catnip. And based on her enthusiastic reviews, she's definitely a fan.

As her confidence grows, she's starting to experiment with what we like to call "lap cat life." She's learning that humans make pretty excellent furniture, and we suspect she's going to turn into quite the cuddler once she fully settles into her forever home. Already, she's showing signs that she loves affection and companionship.

Because she's still a kitten, Babydoll needs a family that can provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and playtime. She would not do well spending long stretches of time alone. She thrives on interaction and will continue building confidence through play and positive experiences.

A home with another young cat is required. Babydoll enjoys feline companionship and needs a playful kitty friend to help her burn off kitten energy, build confidence, and continue developing her social skills. She would likely adjust well to a calm, cat-friendly dog with proper introductions.

Babydoll can startle easily with loud noises and sudden movements, so she'd be happiest in a calm, adult-only home where she can continue gaining confidence at her own pace. With a little patience, she's sure to blossom into a devoted companion.
