Our next and LAST ✨Artist Spotlight✨ is the West Des Moines and Ankeny House Band!!! Playing at the Union Park Carousel 11:30-12!!

The School of Rock West Des Moines and Ankeny House Band music program gives students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year.

All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in School of Rock House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at Iowa rock venues throughout the year!

The House Band music program allows each school's most talented students the opportunity to join a band and play routinely in front of live audiences.

✨Artist Spotlight✨ of the day is Evan Pratt! Playing at 2007 E 9th street 1-2pm!

Evan Pratt is a singer/songwriter from Fort Dodge, Iowa. Evan got into learning the guitar during 2020, teaching himself and finding peace in music. He began gigging in 2023, discovering a classic style through a fresh point of view.

After playing shows for a few years, Evan is dialing back how often he plays live and is now spending his time working on an album while attending college. With a deep list of original songs and an ever-changing variety of covers, Evan always tries to bring something different to the table each time out. He offers a new, authentic sound from the perspective of an old soul.
