Make sure to take precautions tonight as fireworks are likely.

Make sure your dogs have collars with ID on them.

I recommend taking dogs out to potty tonight on leash. Spooked dogs can scale fences they wouldn't normally try to cross.

Get them a cozy spot in the quietest/most sound insulated room of the house.

Play music or tv as background noise to muffle the fireworks.

Busy toys (food frozen into Kongs, West Paw toys or similar, snuffle mats or bones/bully sticks can help keep them calm and distracted.

If they seem worried you can reward with high value food for each explosion. If they refuse to eat they are quite scared.

You can load them up in the car if needed, most cars have a lot of sound proofing, crates inside a car inside an insulated garage will be surprisingly quiet.

Loading up the car and parking in a parking garage can be helpful too.
