Emerald Coast Food Rescue delivered 2000 pounds each to both Crestview Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Dinner at Dad’s for the holiday weekend.

ECFR delivers food to nearly 39,000 food-insecure people across Okaloosa and Walton Counties every month, supplementing more than 200,000 meals.

Started Memorial Day weekend out strong! 💪
Yesterday we were able to deliver 2000 pounds of food to both Project Hope and 1st Presbyterian (Sharing and Caring of Crestview). We are so thankful for our nonprofit partners and for all of the amazing volunteers who make this important work possible in our community!

With food insecurity rising across Okaloosa and Walton Counties, the timing of community support has never been more important. Every day, more families are turning to the programs we serve because grocery prices continue to climb and budgets simply can’t keep up. Emerald Coast Food Rescue is moving record amounts of food this year…but the demand is rising right alongside it.

Each donation directly strengthens the work happening on our trucks six days a week. Because our cost to rescue, transport, and deliver food is just $0.14 per pound, even a modest gift turns into a tremendous amount of impact. Every dollar stretches into roughly 7–8 meals for local families, seniors, veterans, and children.
