It’s easy to fall into the trap of treating everyone else’s urgency like your own.
👉 A client needs “just five minutes.”
👉A teammate has a fire.
👉An email feels time-sensitive.
👉Life keeps tapping you on the shoulder.

Before you know it, the week is gone, and the work that actually moves the business forward never happened.

That’s a fast track to burnout and mediocre results.
One of the most important shifts I’ve made as an entrepreneur is learning to box the repetitive.

When you do that, you’re quietly telling the world:
“Here’s when we do this. If we’re going to work together, this is how it works.”

It’s not about being rigid. It’s about being intentional.

I recently wrote an article breaking down the frameworks, rhythms, and hard-earned lessons I use to protect time for thinking, building, and breathing; drawn from an impromptu coaching session with two entrepreneurs wrestling with this exact issue.

I’m curious:
Where do you feel other people’s urgency hijacking your time?
What have you tried that’s worked, or hasn’t?
What’s one boundary you know you need to reinforce?
If this resonates, sharing is caring.
