Elect Charlie Conrad

I am very proud to support the Civics Learning Project and the students, families, schools, and volunteers who participate in the various competitions. This year, I helped judge the We the People competition and was astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge the students demonstrated about the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. I am not surprised they continued Oregon’s exceptional record at the national competition. Grant High School finished 3rd, and Lincoln finished 6th. Congratulations to all the students!

I was equally impressed by the students who participated in the recent Mock Trial competition in Eugene. If you have the opportunity, I encourage you to attend and support students in these competitions - it truly is a fun and worthwhile experience.
