Five years ago, the Moeck family asked me a question that would change the course of my life:

“Would you homeschool our three children?”

At the time, none of us knew where that simple question would lead.

We began with three siblings—L, Oliver, and Eli—in a warehouse that we transformed into our own school. Together, we created a learning environment rooted in curiosity, adventure, creativity, and meaningful experiences.

As race car drivers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, the Moeck family has always had the courage to do things differently. They were willing to trust an unconventional vision for learning before there was any proof of what it might become.

That leap of faith didn’t just impact their own children. It created a ripple effect that would eventually touch the lives of countless learners and families.

In fact, Ellemercito was named after those very first learners: Elle, Oliver, and Eli. The name was inspired by their nicknames—“Mer” from Oliver and “Elicito” from Eli.

Today, that story comes full circle.

Oliver has graduated high school, becoming the very first Ellemercito learner to reach this milestone.

To the Moeck family: thank you for your trust, your courage, and your willingness to believe in a different possibility. Your impact reaches far beyond your own family and continues to be felt today.

And Oliver—congratulations. We are so proud of you and all that lies ahead.
