Rootline Coffee Company started with a simple goal: To fund the gospel through fair business practices.

In 2017, Rootline Coffee Company acquired a farm in Nicaragua and named it Finca Esperanza De Gloria (Hope of Glory Farm). Over the years, Rootline Coffee Company has partnered with Mountain Gateway to collect assets to export coffee from our Nicaraguan farm to the United States. In December of 2023, Mountain Gateway’s organization registration was canceled in Nicaragua. At the time of cancellation, the government arrested 11 Mountain Gateway Nicaraguan pastors and seized all its assets, including the farm, equipment, vehicles, land, and froze its bank accounts.

In the face of these tragic events, Rootline Coffee Company remains resolute in pursuing solutions to uphold our commitment to serving impactful, quality coffee. We are profoundly saddened by the current circumstances and have opted to close our coffee shop as we explore solutions that resonate with our mission. In the meantime, we will still be providing roasted coffee through our website.
