Congratulations to the 2020 Texas Works Awards DRINKS Category Winner, Straight Bourbon Whiskey by 🥃 This is the flagship spirit for this young Austin-based distillery. Made from 100% Texas-grown corn, rye and malted barley, the nose yields wonderful aromas of ripe tropical fruits like banana, papaya, mango, and toasted coconut, balanced with hints of cinnamon toast, blanched almonds, and s’mores. And now we’re hungry, too . . . 😋 Great job with this new product in an extremely competitive category, Still Austin! And special thank to judge Catherine Stiles for imbibing all the samples. 🙃

Congratulations to the 2020 Texas Works Awards AT HOME Category Winner, Handmade Tiles by 🏡 Eliana designs and produces these specialty tiles (for backsplashes, accents, and more) in her East Austin studio using porcelain slip and plaster molds made in-house. Finished in glossy or matte glaze, in a variety of available custom colors, they’re adorned with 22k gold luster—and we think they’re just extraordinary. An amazing winner for a very competitive category.
