No to deception. No on II.

The Independent Editorial: For Dublin’s Ballot Measures, Vote No on Both - “There are two ballot measures that Dublin voters will decide. Both of them are poorly written and disingenuous attempts by the Dublin City Council to mislead the public.”” The Alameda County Grand Jurors Association, which scores ballot language, said the title of Measure II is MISLEADING and that Measure JJ is “PARTICULARLY DECEPTIVE” for trying to conceal the term limit extension.-- Measure JJ pretends to be about strengthening term limits but in fact relaxes term limits. The City of Dublin should be ashamed of itself for trying to trick Dublin residents in both Measures.

100% of the campaign contributions in favor of Measure II –$122,500--are from Livbor Manning LLC and other out of town development interests, in chunks just under $50,000 so they can hide who they are on campaign materials--Measure II benefits developers not Dublin.

Dublin is proposing Tracy style warehouses outside the Urban Limit Line, on our greenbelt in lower Doolan Canyon. But they haven't done any of the required planning or legally required environmental review. So anything the city or the developer says about Measure II is pure speculation - there are no binding contracts or agreements. This ballot measure is premature. They're trying to trick residents into breaking the Urban Limit Line before they've done the necessary planning steps.
