The ASRV Tetra-Lite® Liner Short is not your basic lightweight running short.
At $118, it comes with a premium price tag—but also a lot of runner-friendly details: two deep liner pockets, a rear zip pocket, anti-odor treatment, a built-in liner with extra coverage, and a stash band for carrying a small layer on the move.
After testing these shorts across road runs, trails, treadmill miles, and gym sessions, the biggest takeaway was clear: the storage system is the star. The phone pockets stayed secure and bounce-free, the liner offered solid coverage, and the short felt durable enough for everyday training.
But there are some caveats. The fabric can feel warm in hot or low-airflow conditions, the waistband sits lower than many current running shorts, and the $118 price point makes this more of a splurge than a stock-up staple.
Read the full review to see who these shorts are best for, and who may want to skip them.

Whether you started as a kid who just liked going fast, signed up for a race before you felt “ready,” found running during a hard season, or use your miles to help lift others up, there’s room for you here.
So in honor of Global Running Day, we’re sharing a little WeeViewer wisdom from real runners in our community.
Now we want to hear from you: What has running taught you?
