Not the way we wanted the night to go. Missed my adjustments for the main event and fought an extremely loose race car. Ended up getting turned around on lap 20 and blew a LR tire.
Decided to call it for the night and got to watch an awesome championship battle take place!
Huge thank you to Kart Idaho Racing both John Wood and Travis Milburn for calling my name to get back in a late model. Had tons of fun all week out at Roadhouse at the mill testing different cars and laying down some fast laps!
It’s been 18 months since I’ve been behind the wheel of a race car but got an opportunity to race the #26 car at Meridian Speedway this weekend.
Felt great getting back on the track yesterday and looking forward to the next two days at the track!

Closed the book on 2023!
Looking back at this year I’d have to summarize it one word, PROGRESS. Not only on the race track but off the race track as well. I’m so grateful for my team for the effort, dedication, and belief they had in me all year long.
Not only did we have an incredible season in late models but we had A TON of fun and that’s the best part! So many great laughs, jokes, and moments with all of the team, partners, competitors, friends and more.
As we flip the page on the new year I am excited to see what 2024 brings! Happy Holidays from everyone at Jacob Smith Racing!
