When you pull up in the morning & just start to hammer on em IMMEDIATELY! From my jig hitting bottom to hooking up was like 20 seconds! Threw this fish in the box dropped my jig back down & was hooked back up in under a minute. Took me 3 short drifts & I was boxed out heading to get breakfast & clean fish, quickest limit so far! Got Jigs? hair jigs were my golden ticket last season! The way they choke these things is unreal, they almost always get the jig hook!
Beautiful morning for my first time on Saginaw Bay ice chasing walleye! They were fired up early & then got pretty tight lipped once the wind picked up. Big thanks to my buddy Chris Schoenborn Shore 2 Shore for putting me on the fish, I had a blast! Give him a shout if you're looking to get out!
