ARM is an Adjustable Rate Mortgage. Mike Dote was my guest and explained this type of mortgage plus a plethora of other information about what to expect in the financial world as it applies to the real estate market.
You will hear more about this type of mortgage with the interest rates climbing.
With an ARM you get a fixed rate for a certain amount of time, maybe 5 years. After that your interest rate will fluctuate every 6 months to a year. Once your fixed rate expires, you can refinance into a new ARM.

You will start to hear more about Assumable Loans in the future...Why? 🤷♀️
This could become a HUGE selling point for your property!
An Assumable Loan can be taken over by the buyer. That means if your current loan is 3.5% and you can offer that same interest rate to your buyer...They simply take over your loan. (There is paperwork, of course, to be filed.)
With interest rates climbing it could mean the difference between selling your property over your neighbors comparable property❗
