33 pepper plants went in the ground today!!! A little late due to recent weather, but it’s our biggest pepper garden yet. We are so excited. May God bless this garden and make it bountiful.

What a time of change. Festival season ended, we spent some time recharging with family, and yesterday we gathered our final ghost pepper harvest for the season. We began our last garden with a prayer for abundance, and out of it this little business was born. We never could have imagined where that last garden would take us. Glory be to God for His providence and wisdom.

As with all things in life, when old things pass new ones come. Today we started new pepper seeds and it marks the beginning of our 7th year of gardening. We are also in our 7th month of being in business.

7 is such a powerful number. In the Bible it symbolizes creation, completeness, and spiritual fullness. We are so excited to see what our 7th year of gardening has in store for us.

We are incredibly thankful that this little hobby of ours has grown into what it has. Here is a prayer of thanksgiving we found that we thought should be shared.

A Thanksgiving for Gardens

God of grace, in the story of creation,
you made the earth a garden
and entrusted it to us to till and to keep,
a place of peace and beauty
where we could walk with you.

In the story of redemption,
the one who died for us was buried in a garden,
and there you raised him up
to greet us with new hope and risen life.

In the story of the Church,
you tend us as a garden,
a place of careful pruning and abundant harvest,
where we can work with you.

Meet us, we pray,
in all the gardens where we go
for nourishment, refreshment and prayer,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

WOW. Burnet, Texas really showed up yesterday for Christmas on the Square. We sold out once again! And best of all, thanks to sales and a bunch of donations, we were able to raise $250 for Sons & Daughters of Thunder - Liberation Center Liberia! God is so good.
