As we reach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence - one of the most important documents written in modern history - we hope you can take a moment to celebrate with friends, family and your community. The story of the beginnings of the United States of America is - of course - one of the greatest in history, and at the core of our social studies curriculum. It is a story that is still being written as we march into our next 250 years.

ISD 728 offices will be closed Friday as we observe our summer hours and celebrate the holiday weekend. They will reopen Monday, July 6.

Pretty safe to say Mud Day 2026 at Community Ed Youth was a HUGE hit. Warm sun, a breeze and plenty of dirt and water to make the BEST mud!
