Encinitas and Carlsbad residents: Do you have lots of citrus, kale, herbs, broccoli, etc. in you home garden this winter? Want it to help nourish neighbors in need?!
You’re invited to bring your excess garden produce for drop off at the Homegrown Hunger Relief donation station in the San Diego Botanic Garden’s main parking lot every Sunday! We will make sure it gets to the Community Resource Center’s Food and Nutrition pantry, so food insecure participants have equal access to healthy food.
Together, we can end hunger, and grow a healthier, more resilient community.
