But, make it single mom in her bedroom with a wrist brace, school tabs open, and a half‑finished email flow.

This is the part no one romanticizes:
late‑night laptop glow, drafts that no one will ever see, tabs for grades and business and bills, a nervous system that is so ready for bed.

But this is where the life I want is actually being built.

Not on a balcony in Paris (yet), but right here, in my room, one tiny brave behind‑the‑scenes step at a time.

If your version of “main character energy” is doing admin in a messy room after a long day… same. We’re still allowed to romanticize it!!!💜

If You’re Tired of Only Dreaming About ‘That Girl

This is for the woman who lives on caffeine and screenshots.

The one who takes notes on every podcast and self-help book… but still feels stuck in the same loop.

I’m not reading about self-discipline because I have it all together.

I’m reading because I’m tired of only dreaming about the life I want.

Self-care is not just nights out and bubble baths.
It’s doing the unglamorous work that no one claps for; studying, healing, trying again, saying ‘no,’ building a life you don’t need to escape.

If this is you too, you’re not behind.
You’re just in the chapter where you stop collecting inspiration and start becoming the kind of woman your notes were always written for.

I’m going to spend at least one moment every single day, romanticizing things in my life that I used to view as trivial or insignificant.

It’s like they say,
Change your mind and you will change your life!

Also, how fitting that the class I’m taking this semester requires this book called Design Your Life!

Also ran into an amazing friend before class!! If you look for the blessings, you WILL find them. On the journey of adding romanticism to my everyday with focus on what’s already great. What you focus on, grows. Let’s grow something amazing!
