A beautiful 72* day, how is today Christmas Eve?

I snap my fingers and p**f! Ok maybe not THAT fast but… Thank you Cory, thank you Chester’s guys!!

It seems like the construction never ends! Son took some time off from building their house to help me get our mudroom addition going. Today we took off the existing metal siding and carport ceiling. Next up - framing!

It’s frosty this morning here at Little Crick! We hope all y’all enjoyed your Thanksgiving yesterday as much as we did. One of our holiday goals is to put as much on the table as we can that we grew ourselves or purchased bulk and preserved. This year: sweet potatoes and green beans we grew, deviled eggs from the ladies down at the coop, Fussell Farms sweet corn, homemade pumpkin puree, and apple pie filling. Stay tuned for next year!

Well Cory and I got our porches poured, now all we need to do is get the driveway done so that on wet and rainy days we can make it up to the house without any mud slinging.

We finally got our porches poured! Yay!! And we have been busy once again!! Got some water line in, bringing up electrical inside! Nice to have lights. Getting some insulation in, annnnnndddd! BAY WINDOW! Happy girl, even though she don't show it...😬😬

Northern lights at the homestead, first time seeing them in all my years!

They say third time is the charm correct? let’s see if the porch gets poured today. If it does we can put in the last window. Then we can move on to finishing the outside work that needs to be done!
