I don't feel comfortable on camera, but I'm kind of proud of the way the new puzzle box turned out, so I thought I'd share it with you.

Originally I didn't have the indicator on the end of the box, but quite a few people couldn't figure out how to open the box, so i decided to make it easier to figure out.

It opens by tilting the box first one way and then the other to unlock 2 different cams.

This design has been in my head for over a year now. I decided to try to make it after talking with Jason at the Art Hop a couple of weekends ago. I think we're going to try to collaborate and integrate songbook like this into his gorgeous wooden boxes.

There's something about the slow tick of this click that brings me so much peace.

I've decided I need to make a perpetual calendar from wood to go with it.
