Before/After.
This Oregon White Oak was burnt during a house fire a few years ago and has started to decay on that side. We came in and lightened it up and removed some serious damage to prolong its life and make it safer for the new house that has since been built.

3 facts about ash tree’s
1. Ash is incredibly strong wood and is highly sought after for making tool handles, bows, and baseball bats.
2. In norse mythology it is said the first man was formed from an Ash tree and the first woman from an Alder.
3. In other parts of the country the Ash tree has been devastated by the Emerald ash borer. which has caused massive decline in the species, there have been some sightings in Oregon that may lead to the demise of these trees.
