Our freedom is interconnected. When some communities lose political voice, representation becomes less equitable for everyone. When it comes to voting rights, we lose power if we: accept voter suppression as normal, assume someone else will respond instead of us, believe our participation doesnโt matter, or treat attacks on other communities as someone else's problem. Our civil rights reclamation begins locally. But it has to connect to the fights happening around us. The Eugene-Springfield NAACP just launched a new website and membership system for the NAACP Eugene-Springfield branch. We also realized our previous communications system made it difficult to build stronger long-term relationships with members and supporters like you. Check out the site, sign up for emails, and become a member of the NAACP (both local and national)!

๐ Join us for Cultural Story Time as we celebrate Pride Month! ๐
This month, we'll be reading stories that highlight love, acceptance, identity, and the importance of being yourself. Through storytelling and conversation, we'll explore the many ways people and families are unique while building a community where everyone feels welcome and valued.
We can't wait to learn, share, and celebrate together. Everyone is welcome!
