Today I cleaned up the tr**ny and got the engine back in and all put together. Cranked a little but not enough to start. Try again tomorrow.

Engine had to come back out to redo the rear main seal. Silly me forgot to remove the dowels on the crank before installing the seal last time. A mistake I'll never repeat. 2 days of easy going work and it's ready to go back in. I'm on a no leak mission now. Lol

Replaced valve covers and drain plug plate on the bug. Soon to test drive it.

While trying to fix a misfire issue, found it has an exhaust leak near the back. This was a few weeks ago, but I'm constantly helping Alex with oil changes on his jeep.
