On Wednesday night, March18th, S. Res. 649, submitted by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK)
passed the Senate by UNANIMOUS CONSENT!

This resolution commemorated the 250th Anniversary of the passage of of the resolution of
March 16, 1776 which declared March 16th as a day of humiliation, fasting and prayer. S. Res. 649 passed the Senate by Unanimous Consent.

Abba Father, we REJOICE over the unanimous bipartisan resolution declaring May 17 as a day of humiliation, fasting, and prayer for our nation!

We celebrate the spiritual implication during this time in history for America, as we also prepare for the 250th Anniversary of one nation under God.

We invite Your Holy Spirit to cause a heart of repentance to fall upon members of our government and citizens across the United States. Guide and lead our entire nation into a powerful time of prayer, fasting, humility and full-surrender towards You, O Lord. We pray Your continual mercy upon us, as we lift prayer to bring our nation back into righteousness, focused on walking closely with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! By the Blood of the Lamb, we pray, Amen.
