V-flats! ⬜️⬛️
V-flats are two-sided, movable, light-weight walls (usually foam panels) that are “hinged” together by tape, forming the letter V.
They are awesome tools to learn to utilize during your photography sessions when they happen to be available. And we have TWO for you!
⬜️ One side is white, to reflect light, bringing more brightness into your photo.
⬛️ The other side is black, to block or remove light, reducing the amount of light in your photo.
While commonly used in this way as light reflectors or light detractors, they can ALSO be used as backdrops!
There are a lot of possibilities with v-flats (Google them!), allowing you to really fine-tune the lighting in your photos, so you can become even more of an artist with your photography by “painting with light”!
