Facing a Barnesville Senior Legion team made up largely of 18-year-olds, the younger Astros refused to quit. After trailing 12–2, they answered with a five-run surge in the 5th to narrow the gap, but ultimately fell short by a 12-7 final! Proving they could compete against a significantly older roster. It was a great opening game of the season!
