Kinda looks like a heart.

Here's the Sphalerite geode all cleaned up. The adamantine luster is beautiful on the crystal. Hiding underneath the Kaolinite were some dogtooth calcite crystals. Some calcite crystals surrounding the Sphalerite give off a lot of sparkle.

What a lucky break!

A really pristine Sphalerite Geode I collected at Gary Jacob's exposure. This video and pic show the correlation between the Sphalerite and Kaolinite found in many Keokuk geodes. I will post cleaned up video and photos shortly. I hope y'all enjoy.
