I like playing ukulele.
Alright, if you miss out you can’t say I didn’t told’ya so. Only two weeks away from one of my very favorite weekends of the year! There will be no shortage of joy, laughter, and that feeling of community we all need so badly as humans. And don’t get me started on the dancing that goes down (I’m a big boy but I’ll be out there stomping grapes with the best of them!)
If you live in the area and like camping, music, good food, and bringing in your own beverages to the stage (!!!)
Then you really can’t find a better value dollar for dollar than BirdFest

The 2026 BirdFest lineup is live! If you don’t already have your tickets, get ‘em!
So excited to finally get to see Dom Flemons perform after having met him some 7 years ago working the front desk at Hotel Florence.
A cadre of talented musicians, Steep Canyon Rangers TWO nights in a row, once in a lifetime guest spots, excellent food and merchandise; need I say more?
Oh yeah and it all goes down at the scenic and serene South Carolina Waterfowl Association campus in Pinewood. I’ll have the ukulele and enough pasta salad to feed the Boston Marathon, so come camp and groove with us!

Woe unto us concert-goers if this is true.
The Live Nation CEO, Michael Rapino, has claimed that tickets for concerts are “underpriced” compared to other forms of entertainment.
Rapino made the remarks during CNBC and Boardroom’s Game Plan conference, stating there is scope to charge more for concert tickets despite the rising costs of living, which are hurting the pockets of the average live music fan.
