St. Mary Magdalene

We are delighted to share that the Bishop has granted a name to our Mission to Folsom: St. Mary Magdalene's. In the Holy Scriptures, St. Mary Magdalene is both penitent and preacher. We firmly believe that this is what God has called us to model to our neighbors in Folsom. Please continue to pray for us as we gear up to begin meeting!

As announced on Sunday, the Vestry was pleased to offer Zachary Dewey our newly developed church-planting-curacy! Zac, his wife Bailey, and two children will be joining our parish in July of this year. Zac will be trained at St. Mark's under the oversight of our clergy, and tasked with the responsibilities of spearheading Folsom Anglican, our daughter congregation. Please pray for Zac and Bailey as they gear up for this exciting transition, and be sure to give them a warm welcome!

As announced on Sunday, we are in the midst of fund raising for a church-planting-curate to head our Folsom Anglican Mission. We have almost raised the first year's salary! Thank you for your continued generosity and support for this project. It would not have been possible without you!
