Last, but certainly not least, is the session so many families look forward to each year - Pay What You Can Mini Sessions.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, but I always like to hold Pay What You Can Mini Sessions in November, in honor of my son. 🎗️

I lost my son, Jason, to cancer in 2006. In memory of him, I hold this annual charity event. These sessions, and the families who participate each year, are near and dear to my heart. During this one precious day, I get to talk to people who know about Jason. We learn more about each other's hearts and families each time we get together. While they're never met Jason, I know that he holds a special place in their hearts. It means so much to my mama heart.

Proceeds go to   and , two of my favorite local charities.

Here's how it works:

🎗️Book your session online.
🎗️Send me your receipt.
🎗️Receive a 20-minute photography session and 5 digital images.

Sessions will be scheduled on November 13th.

Family Mini Sessions are a fall fav of mine. I, selfishly, love these! For my families who trust me with their family photos year after year, THANK YOU!! I get to see how your family has grown. And, more importantly, I get to know each of you.

Here are the details: They're 30 minutes, which is just enough time to capture intimate images of you and your family. Plan on a mixture of poses and interactive prompts to get you the coveted Christmas card photo and beautiful images for your home. Family Mini Sessions are $250 and include 5 digital images. 

Also, because providing photography to all families (despite your financial situation) is so important to me, I am offering a discounted rate to the first 5 families to schedule their family mini session. I have 4 of these left!

I always feel so honored to be able to serve fighter families through The Gold Hope Project. Eliana is such a sweet girl who hasn't let cancer take away her spark. While wandering around taking pictures of her and her precious personality, we shared jokes - and, omg, her half-hidden giggle melted my heart - and talked about how she misses her hospital friends now that she's done with treatment. The doctors, nurses, and fellow patients children meet in the playroom become a huge part of their lives and, sometimes, it's hard to let that go.
