On July 24th, 2026 Northern Colorado Youth Hockey will be holding the 4th NCYH Golf Tournament at Pelican Lakes Resort and Golf. With your help, we will be able to raise a generous amount of money to support the NCYH Foundation. The NCYH Foundation funds scholarships, facility, and works towards establishing the best quality environment for young people to participate in hockey.

You can help in our mission to keep our youth active and engaged by being a sponsor for our event. We have created a variety of sponsorship levels for you to choose from. Please consider partnering with us today for this fantastic golf event to support youth athletics!

Established in 1992 on the Prospect Ponds in Fort Collins, Colorado, FCPHA has grown from its modest beginnings into a significant source of support for our community. For a lot of us in FCPHA our hockey careers started when we were 30 or older. From that point on we have been passionate about the game of hockey. Over the years FCPHA has and continues to provide thousands of dollars in assistance to individuals and causes over the years - FCPHA.

Many Northern Colorado hockey players first experienced the joy of ice hockey on our Prospect Ponds at no cost. However, the expenses of formal competitive play—such as ice time, travel, and gear—can be daunting. FCPHA would like to help new and existing players get in the game by helping with their registration fees. Full or partial tuition scholarships will be given to eligible applicants.

I played youth hockey and high school hockey in Cottage Grove, MN. I then played two seasons in the United States Hockey League with Omaha before spending four years at Colorado College. During my career, I was named USHL MVP, First Team All-American at Colorado College, and was a draft pic of the Washington Capitals.

After playing five years professionally, I retired and began coaching youth hockey at Northern Colorado Youth Hockey, where I have coached for the past 18 seasons. Coaching has become my passion, and the most rewarding part is seeing players finally put into practice all the things we work on every day.

My coaching philosophy is that the process is more important than the result, and our top goal each day is to get better.
