I’ve been working on a couple Olive Egger 🫒 projects & these are the first chicks hatched from my Golden Cuckoo Marens hens under a White Ameraucana rooster. They are nothing like what I was expecting, lol & I think the brown ones are questioning the paternity of the cream colored one 😂
My guess is the brown ones are little roosters & the cream one is a pullet. Hoping I’m wrong, but time will tell.

I could watch the ducks for hours! They are so fascinating & entertaining and also incredibly beautiful. 😍

Beautiful Becky has been hanging out inside the house with us for the past couple weeks.
I noticed one day that she wasn’t getting up after the rooster made his move, after observing her for a little while I also noticed that her sisters were quite a bit bigger than she was. Then once again, she wouldn’t get up after the rooster mounted her again so I decided to bring her inside for some RNR.
She’s doing great inside, eating well & gaining weight. She’s sweet & chatty & loves to snuggle while watching tv 😊
