Throwback Thursday:
When the GSG 9 stood up in 1972, they turned to Heckler and Koch to outfit them with the latest fi****ms necessary to conduct their new counter terror missions. Here we see new product training on their HK P9S pistols. With their fixed barrels and roller delayed blowback operation, modified from the MP5, these pistols remain some of the most accurate and soft recoiling semiautomatic pistols from period. These would continue to service until being replaced by the HK P7 at the end of the decade.
