Cordele Motor Speedway welcomes Cody Martell to the Southern Pro Series Pro Late Model field for SpeedFest 2026, where he’ll take on the SpeedFest 100 on Saturday, January 24 at Cordele Motor Speedway.

Martell brings a deep Florida racing background and recent top-five performances to one of the Southeast’s premier early-season events. His career highlights include strong championship runs and consistent finishes across multiple touring series:

🔥 2nd in Sunshine State Challenge Series points (2017)
• 3 Top-Five finishes in 8 starts
🔥 3rd in Florida Pro Truck Series points (2016)
• 2 wins
🔥 3rd in the Lee Fields Memorial (2025)
🔥 4th-place finish in his only Cordele Pro Late Model start this season
🔥 Additional podiums with a 3rd at Mobile and a 2nd at Five Flags Speedway

With proven speed across Florida and along the Gulf Coast, Martell looks to build on his Cordele experience and contend against a stacked Southern Pro Series field in the SpeedFest 100.

Snowflake 125 tech day ✅

Tomorrow morning starts our first week at the snowball derby! Got to make a few laps last Tuesday in the new car and it felt like the motor was laying down. Made a few phone calls and the new motor made it to the shop on Thanksgiving day. Huge thanks to everyone that had a role in making this week possible!
